The Chiro Pad is a Nelson chiropractic clinic located in the historic Cotton’s building, right in the heart of the city.
Our dedicated team is here to support your journey to health with care that is tailored to your needs. Whether you’re managing discomfort, aiming for better performance, or just wanting to stay active, we’re passionate about helping you feel your best.
Hello, I’m Patrick. I’m a Nelson local who recently moved back home after spending ten years in Australia. My family and I were drawn back by the beautiful natural environment, the community, and most importantly, being close to our family. It’s great to be home.
I enjoy working with people of all ages and building lasting relationships with families. Head, neck and jaw function has always been a particular interest of mine, having grown up with a dentist for a father and seeing the important connection between these areas from an early age.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from leading practitioners across Europe, the US and Australia. This has shaped my approach to care, including a focus on creating stability and healthy movement patterns throughout the body, rather than simply addressing where someone is experiencing discomfort.
I founded The Chiro Pad with the goal of creating a warm, welcoming practice where people feel supported in taking charge of their health. I’m passionate about helping people move beyond pain and get back to living active, healthy lives.

Donna has been part of The Chiro Pad from the beginning and is a familiar face to many of our patients. She has a warm, caring approach, taking the time to get to know people and to make patients feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, Donna loves spending time with her family, going for walks and enjoying good food, especially if it involves sharing a meal with loved ones.

Holly has worked alongside Patrick to build and develop the practice. Coming from a design background, she has helped shape the look and feel of The Chiro Pad, as well as the way we communicate with and connect with our community. When she's not working, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, exploring new destinations, and outdoor adventures.

While not yet old enough to have an official role, Patrick and Holly's son, Ted, is great at spreading happiness and reminding us to keep things light and flexible. It's not all fun and games, though; he has the important responsibility of choosing and testing books and toys for the practice. In his spare time, Ted enjoys running, cycling and spending time with family.
